January 16, 2009 - We have continued to get neighborly reports of strange men (meeting the description of previous suspicious characters) knocking on homeowner's doors and trying to gain entry into homes.  It is my understanding that an additional Police report  has been filed.  It sounds as if they are mentioning that "Your neighbor XXX sent me over to your house and I'd like to speak to you...."  Several more reports have filtered in to me that this is occuring.  I would impore you all to not open the doors for anyone you do not know.  This might be a good time to refresh your children as well on such things.  As a neighbor, I would also recommend that if you are actually sending someone to a neighbor's house, please reach out and call them, email them, or walk them over so that there can be no mistaking the intentions of these individuals.  We simply want a safe neighborhood for all.  If anyone has any thoughts or questions on the matter,  I would encourage you to contact your Board members...or even better....come to one of our meetings!  I hope everyone is enjoying a wonderful January and is staying warm and comfortable.

January 8, 2009 - Happy New Year to all!  The HOA is busy with several key projects and planning for 2009 and beyond.  Please do not hesitate to attend one of our monthly board meetings, send us an email or give us a call.  One of the projects ahead is the re-vamping of this website to contain more useful information.  Please feel free to send us your suggestions.  We are also looking for a list of possible "preferred vendors" to advertise on the site.  If you know someone who might be interested, or want us to contact someone you've used and been pleased with, please let us know.

September 10, 2008 - The annual meeting of the membership is set for Thursday, October 16, 2008.  Please click the page tab "Annual Meeting Notice" on this website to view more information.  Each homeowner is strongly encouraged to attend to vote on the proposed third amendments to our DCCR's.  Besides the DCCR amendments, homeowners will be voting on two open Board positions.  Also, the Board will review the 2008 expenses/budget and present the 2009 expense budget and dues rate to the membership.

June 10, 2008 - At the June Board Meeting it was decided to have the Annual Meeting in October, either the second or third week.  One of the main reasons for moving the Annual Meeting date to October is provide time for the Board to approve the 2009 expense budget and next year's dues rate so that it can be communicated to the membership at the meeting.

November 8, 2007 - At the Board Meeting last night, the Board adopted the 2008 Budget, a Board Letter to the homeowners about the 2008 dues, established the 2008 dues level and dues notice, and adopted a dues payment allocation and late fee schedule.  (To see the documents just click on the underlined links).

August 20, 2007 - The new Preston Springs Homeowner's Asscociation, Inc., Board of Directors were installed today and activities are now transitioning from the previous Board.  Also, new Officers for the Association were elected by the Board.  Please refer to "The Board" tab to see your new Board and Officers.

August 14, 2007 -  The Association's Annual Meeting was held tonight.  The membership voted on a new Board, they will be officially installed and take over from the resigning Board once the Association's incorporation status is confirmed.
